WHAT TO EXPECT
What Should I Wear?
During your physiotherapy assessments, it’s important to me to always ensure your comfort and dignity. For me to complete a physical assessment, I may recommend removing certain items of clothing to assess range of motion, posture or to perform specific tests. This recommendation is made solely with your well-being and treatment effectiveness in mind. Your privacy will be respected, and you will always have the option to decline or request accommodations that make you feel more comfortable. I recommend wearing comfortable clothing that enables me to access the injured area.
What Should I Bring?
Bring any relevant documents, referral letters, radiology reports, scans and footwear that might assist with understanding your injury better.
Do I Need A Referral to See A Physiotherapist?
No. As a private paying patient you can see a physiotherapist without a referral from your GP or specialist.
Can I Claim Back with My Private Health Insurer?
Yes, all my services are claimable with the major health insurance providers in Ireland.
